i agree with you. and ive seen it at the local level all the way to the pro's.. these guys are trying to scrub so many things, that they have to set themselves up to do it. watch Ken, he actually seems to slow down, position himself to do that scrub. looks as if it made him change his body position half way to the jump..

Awesome clip, kid is an amazing talent.... but makes me thiink, what really is a scrub:

I've always thought a scrub was laying it over on the face of the jump & scrubbing off the top. But this is more barely clearing or scrubbing the next bump. I see it more as a whip, as he didn't scrub anything on the face but laid it over afterwards.

Having watched both over the last couple seasons, the GP crowd definitely embraces scrubbing a lot more than the US-based guys do.

It's riskier for sure, the faster part is debatable, but it sure is fun to watch, no matter who's doing it.
