I've noticed this phenomenon throughout this years SX series. Guys that are getting 7-9 in the heats are usually not running the bottom 5 in the mains by the end. Granted there has been plenty of the crashes and other strangeness that change things, but I think in both classes there area a handful of guys that are really good at getting top 9 in an 8 or 6 lap sprint and then drop anchors in the mains. Then there is the other side of the spectrum, guys that struggle to get in but finish 14th or better.
