I'd say the extra 15min he had to ride zapped him. Plus riding 110% intensity for 30+2 against absolute murderers. I think he was still top 4 with 15min left in the moto. Pretty good

I just finished watching DVR... Blown away by Jo's effort. And really loved seeing Masterpool have a great race.

Eli's on a roll, Chase has to be looking over his shoulder.

And yes, Eli and Chase are the 450 riders, who rides the 250???

Was weird seeing Dungey over ride the bike, was pretty gnarly at times. Jett looks so effortless, what a talent.

It never will happen but if we have to resort to kitchen being our mx2 we are doomed it’s the pivotal class. Really wish they’d consider a 450 guy dropping down

Kitchen seems to be trending upwards while Cooper doesn't look like himself.

Mosiman and Hampshire are both fast, but prone to mistakes.

Cooper usually has great starts and that's a pretty big factor when starting against 450's.

At this point it's a tough call. There's no clear favorite.

Something is definitely up with cooper and it’s not the injury because he goes from good to bad back to good. And his bike changes are drastic when it’s the same model he’s been on for his whole career practically, I looked back to his 2020 results and they are similar. Goes through periods of very odd results but when he’s good it’s a guaranteed podium

i think he was still holding his own til about the 24 min mark and then dropped fast..came from last to 14th in first moto ..he now knows what he has to do and he also knows he can race with these guys . it was never mentioned that he broke his frame in 2nd qualifying session

I joked about it being Hampshire... And he gets horrible starts and starts are critical in MX2 at MXoN. But he has the best results over the last 4 races at Red Bud and it isn't even close. After seeing Cooper today, I'm out on Justin. Give me RJ because it's Red Bud and he is fast there.

When will we stop lying to ourselves about why Roczen hasn't been able to win titles (since 2016)... it's not because he "rolls over" or isn't "relentless", he simply can't go as fast as the lead guys for a full 30 min + 2 laps, at least not consistently for 12 rounds. Yes, he has his weekends, but they're too few and far between for him to win a championship. Eli and Chase are clearly on another level.
