I knew a good friend of mine the late Barrett "Joe " Bender had a good national finish years ago.
It was 13th at High Point 1978. Means a lot to me to find it.

Thanks DC,will it even include moto results? Am i dreaming?
Here are some of the changes I picked up today, going through the "BRANDS" button on how they are listed. Many of these are data-entry/sign-up problems from yesteryear, as the old sign-ups were on paper back in the day, and then listed and re-listed until they were entered as data, often by someone who was not much of an enthusiast. Let me know if you guys can spot anything additional or any oversights here:
BRANDS:
AJS (all caps)
Amm and Ammex are the same, all Gary Jones
Amp ????
ATK (all caps)
Ban ???
Bom in 1972 (Jeff Smith) should actually be a Can-Am, which was made by Bombardier
BSA (all caps)
Bultaco/Maico on Bobby Harris in 1973, we just need to check which one it was.
Car is, I believe, Carabella (Mexican brand, ask Scott)
Cheeta?
CZ (all caps)
CZ/Husqvarna, Jim Wicks, should be all Husqvarna (no idea on Anthony Martin)
CZ/Kawasaki, I believe all of those for Tony Wynn and Wyman Priddy are Kawasaki
CZ/Maico, ask Scott
Fox (Steve Lamson) is actually Honda (Fox was his title sponsor)
Gr is Greeves
Hod must be Honda, no way anyone was racing 125 Nationals in 1975
KTM/Yamaha, all on Frank Stacy, we need Scott to check it with Andy.
Maico/Kawasaki, Jim Cooke was a Maico rider or a Kawasaki rider in 1972?
Montessa should be Montesa
Mug should be Mugen-Honda
Nog on Tony Wynn, that must be a Noguchi Yamaga?
Oss = Ossa
Oss/Bultaco = Ossa, and we just need to check and see what Robert Harris is riding
Pow, no idea
Pul is actually a Bultaco
Ric = Rickmann
Swm???? Was that the weird Swedish brand I was trying to think of?
Did Chicken have a brother? It must be an error...there's a Matt Matiasevich who got 5th at Budds Creek in '89?
Interesting to see the span of decades some guys have. Who's got the biggest? Dubach's got 19, Cooper covers 18 years, Howerton 15, and Gordon Ward 17...Barry's got 21! Anybody else in the ball park?
DC...I was surprised to see you never rode a 125 National, would of thought you would of done some around '85 on the KTM?
Pit Row
Here is the all time win list (minus 2011):

Does this exist anywhere? If so, how can we get access to it? I would love to see how some of the top pro's faired in their early years at Loretta's, as well as those who have won many many championships, but fell off for one reason or another later in their pro careers.
Any help would be great! I love digging through the archives and tracking progress "after the fact".
Thanks for all the hard work and Merry Christmas to all!!!

I did make three or four 125 SX mains earlier that year and my claim-to-fame is 8th at the Daytona 125 SX -- on a KTM! But I knew I had a better chance in college than I did in racing. The writing was on the wall because guys I used to hang with, like Lechien, Bowen and Warren, were winning nationals and SX races. They just got faster and faster...
