Dude that generation was one of the best CRF450's ever made....and from some mags it's still considered better than even the best that 2010 has to offer .....what proof do you have "Gardner" that the bike is a POS?....

We always wanted more competitiors in the mx scene now we are getting them from places that are outside what we expected and its a copy of one of the best 450's ever made and you are complaining?.....You must work for one of the "big 4"......Give it enough rope to hang itself before you blast it besides, it hasn't been tested by any credible people at all for you to make that assumption.

Unless you have prior knowledge of the bike in which case you would've posted WHY you think it is a piece of shit as you put it....looks to me like they get frames from Honda as well as engines so what exactly makes it a piece of shit? Please enlighten me.....

First time you apply pressure to the rear brake pedal, I'm guessing it bends 90 degrees.

No way that is an ad made by the company lol. I loved how he hits a 50ft table top and it just beem's in with a backfire logo then repeats about seven times. I started to wonder if DD made the video, but then I realized there are no skulls..........

I love how things get lost in translation sometime, and the fact that they don't consult with anyone who speaks English fluently, or better yet, truly understands the meaning of the language and the connotations words or phrases may have... Or did they?

Backfire Motorcycles? I guess "Sputtering and Doesn't Run Quite Right Motorcycles" was too long? What's wrong with "Failure Motorcycles"? That one instills confidence in the consumer, does it not?

Hell, considering Honda is damn near out of the motocross market, someone needs to step up and fill their spot. LMAO.

My Chinese conglomerate is deep into devolpment on the future of 2 stroke Direct Injection technology. Look for info on the 2011 "Plug Fouler 250MX" soon.

In 1971 Suzuki introduced the TM 400 which everyone made jokes about.
No one was laughing in the fall of 1975 after the RM's came out.

I'll go out on a limb Lightning, that bike is garbage. Just a look at those triple clamps should scare you away.

I've been saying for 10+ years that Chinabike will replace the Big Four as the dominant player in the marketplace. I still believe it will happen, and that owning a Yamaha, Honda, etc (the ones that stick around, anyway), will be somewhat like owning a BMW or Lexus... They will be the high-end bike manufacturers, not the ones that the masses will own.

Actually, I'm sure that's already true, outside of the U.S.

The question should be have you ever seen something made outside China? Look at our gears, sprockets, handlebars etc.

I assume this bike is crap because no one serious would build a clone, but when someone serious do an attempt the same person will make sure it holds togheter, and that they use adequate metals. My buddy bought radiators from China and said the welding was first class.

At some point they will dominate the planet (maybe they are already there?), but until then we can laugh some...

Yup. Its already begun. Tons of kids getting started nowadays on these shitty cheap bikes from Pep Boys, etc.

I doubt the Chinese will ever make a bike that's "better", but there will be one that is good enough and cheap enough for them to become dominant in the market.
