So it just occurred to me, what is the point of having two different size bikes in two different classes? Why not have 250F's for the "little" bikes and 250F's for the "big" bikes? At least in supercross.

Skip all that nonsense, I'll just have breaded meat. Best of both worlds.

Oh yes it is Fro....some people might like the old style bread, some people might like the new style with high fibre. Or dare I say it....some might like brown bread. Blink

They do that already, in Arenacross.

Brilliant idea.

And to help avoid confusion we could call the 250 class the "Supercross class" and call the other 250 class "Supercross Lites".

Better yet, what if they made the 450s the "little" bikes and the 250s the "big" bikes? Dizzy

I would put the regional class on 250's, and the premier class on tricycles. HTFU or GTFO.

Just have one class and call it the "open 250" class, but remember to ban those other evil 250's from the class. Wink

Why not just sell beer in 6 oz pony bottles instead of quarts? Because, when the law pulls you over it sounds better to say " had 2 beers"

Instead of " had 8 beers"

Hope that simplifies it fer ya.

Well the 125's physically couldn't do what the 250's could do. The 250F can not only do everything a 450F can do, but now they can do it faster. Thus - why not just let both classes race the 250F. If the premier guys are really that premier, they should be able to go faster than the kids - even on the same equipment

How about the premier class riding 250's, and the support class riding 125's like back when racing was fun and interesting?

I was going to try my best and post an intelligent reply , but now I'm so lost I'm not exactly sure what I'm supposed to reply to. But I think it's healthy to eat smaller sandwiches , drink smaller beers and ride 125's. I don't care what we call this ménage à trois , but I think we need to jump on these changes ASAP! Trust me bro's!

Your first post is a little confusing, but I think I get what you're saying (and agree with you).

The real difference between the two classes is that one is a Regional championship (with points advancement rules) and the other is a National Championship for riders at the very top level. The size of the bikes is an irrelevant carry over from the days when engine size actually mattered a lot.
