2021 yz250f second injector

Just switched to Yamahas from husky. In 2019 for outdoors I had a full twisted bike, and im looking to budget build my Yamaha for outdoors this summer. Any leads on getting a kit?

Twisted Development does dual injectors, remaps , ecu replacement, motor work etc.

I see Suzuki and Kawi have the 2nd injector standard. What benefit does it give?

Fuel injection with a single injector starts to lose some gusto on the top end. The 2nd injector makes sure it’s a consistent pressure throughout the range and gives more power up top in the rpms.

I think TD does that set-up on the ClubMX bikes. I swore on Instagram they posted a video of them revving the bike and you could see the 2nd injector inside the boot spray. The bike sounded so sick (but even the stock one sounds pretty nasty, so maybe not a good judge lol.) Regardless a cool set-up for sure.

Bundy Built does them as well. If your going with a get ecu i might be able to find you a air box with the kit already to go installed. You would just need a get ecu

It is also std. on Beta 4t’s for a few years now. Better mpg and power across the range.

It‘s not the pressure. Otherwise you would need a second pump as well.
With higher rpm the air velocity in the intake increases and the fuel has less time to atomise before being burnt. By adding a second injector further upstream you can counter that. With rising rpm the system switches more and more to the second injector.

Brandon at DH1 has in my opinion a better setup and is a quarter of the price

I have a GET ecu that is 2nd injector compatible I'll sell for $450

You need to upgrade the rod, and piston, not the compression just the strength of the piston, then if your gonna do a vortex ecu you will need valve springs to keep up with the igntion, and a shit load of cam chains, may even look into the tokyo mods cam chain manual tensioner..


If running the dual in jector setup your required to run vortex ecu,

If running vortex ecu your required to run the valve springs,

If running high comp piston, you will be required to upgrade the connecting rod.

Its alot of money and its nuts,

The husky or ktm has everything. That your adding to this blue one stock, except for the ecu.

yes and it helps power tremendously
