Oh my! ...... Hate to say it but it really is gonna be a race for a distant second place James appears to be riding better than ever .....with all the top guys (the one's that can challenge him) switching bikes and coming off injuries I doubt James will even be challenged. Mookie looks like he is getting the hang of SX too definitly not as fast as James which was evident how he BLEW by him in the whoops.

One more thing, anyone notice the KAwasaki mule in the video? Im assuming that since James rides for L&M not Yamaha, things like that don't matter. If he was riding for the actual factory I doubt that would've been there. I like the way teams are headed with the factories stepping aside it gives the riders and team managers a lot more freedom than they had before.

Yeah, he looks fast in that video... but you can't really tell until he's on the track with real competition...

I still think he belongs on a KX...

James Stewart, extremely talented and balls of steel, probably the fastest ever on a perfectly groomed SX track. However IMO, SX is boring the same way Freestyle is.


I'm just not interested anymore, I'd rather watch the Canadian Outdoor Nationals.

Are you really that cynical? Last year the title came down to the last few laps...and this year there are some great riders lined up.

SX is very boring, I agree. The tracks don't inspire any kind of close racing. Tracks of old allowed time to be made up, and mistakes to be made. I think the FMX analogy was pretty spot on. Cool for a while, but after 17 rounds, I practically fall asleep. I would absolutely, no doubt in my mind, rather watch some CMX.

It was a cool vid for about a minute. I enjoy going to sx races, but videos of the same thing over and over get boring real quick. Those vids of him on his outdoor track are much better to watch.

I think most of you guys think SX is boring because you cannot relate to it since you've never ridden an SX track. It's easy to relate to James riding mach 15 around a MX track b/c you've all been on an MX track and know what it's like.

Watching those guys ride SX like they do is anything but boring...
