Couple years ago I bought a set of wheels from an 05 KTM 525 that was never ridden and sat in an office. You bet your ass I rode with them antique Metzelers. They were like riding on forklift tires, but good enough for a few days of playing.

Ev put a new spring in it for the few bucks, seems senseless not to if you’re doing plates/discs.

I lost a crank on a 100 hour 17 350, rebuilt it and lost another one a few hours later. Had the same handful of copper shavings you have. Turned out the oil squirted was clogged. I don’t know if that caused the first failure, but it definitely caused the second one.

2 thoughts: Companies like TLD paints helmets and doesn’t have any type of testing facility I’m aware of. I’ve searched for a long time for a glove that offers finger protection like we used to have, to no avail.

I’d buy one immediately if I could get a straight answer from them regarding which states are road legal. Their statement of “California and some other states will have to wait a little longer” isn’t very encouraging. I’ve emailed twice and can only get generic answers of which states are/are not legal currently.

If there’s time remaining in the designated slot, they have to fill it with something. Getting other racers and their sponsors in front of the camera can only be good.
