I saw this on Live Leak yesterday. The topic blew up in the comments section with people locating a Facebook page that had posted the video, and the hunt was on! It's good to see that they were able to at least tag him with a felony. Hopefully an aggressive prosecutor AND a decent judge will nick him for the maximum sentence.

20 miles round trip. I'm in Washington state,which has some of the worst drivers I have ever seen, and I've driven A LOT, in many locations in adverse conditions. It's such a tragedy! He was struck by a vehicle back in 1993 while crossing a street and suffered a fractured skull, concussion and blood clot. It was a months long recovery. I would also be curious about the implications of those injuries. Either way, what a crying shame.

I do not know about your state laws but in a lot of jurisdictions the prosecuter will offer what is called a deferred sentence. If you pay a court fee, the court defers imposition of sentence for six months. After six months the court dismisses the charge so you have no record of a conviction. This way in the future...

They are ALL thugs. These guys eat their own. The club member that posted the video, who is cooperating with the cops is crying because he is getting death threats! It is a den of thieves, they have no respect for anyone, including themselves.

The rider that was run over would not have been put in the situation he is in now, facing paralysis etc if he would have observed one item. HIS DRIVERS LICENSE WAS REVOKED. I wear the Danner Quarry GTX and love them. They have what's called the Dry Ice sole that has two types of rubber for excellent traction on ice. They have Gore Tex and 400 grams of thinsulate as well as a non metallic toe. Most of the high end line boots are made in Portland.
