The only reason I'm giving any blame to Mike is that at the end of the day the rider is ultimately responsible for where their bike goes. I don't have a view from the rider's perspective but maybe he could have jumped to the right a bit.

One of the boys that rides with me was at GH earlier this year. He was out in practice with MM25 and JA21. My kid is 14 and has NO business being on a track at the same time as any A class or above rider. Just stupid. I've refused to go to tracks that don't have splits. And I bitch to the operators of tracks that do bad splits - like a few weeks ago when they ran Beginner, Vet, and 85s all in one session at a local track. 50 riders with massively different abilities and thought processes...
