I had a 17' or 18' 350 xc-f come into the shop with a loud ticking noise a few weeks ago. Valve clearances were in spec. Cam chain tensioner fine. Could be a fuel related issue. I would hook up a fuel pressure tester to see if there is proper fuel pressure (RM sells an inexpensive tester that works great). Ya, double check your timing. Always turn the motor over with the flywheel nut before kicking it over. It'll give you a chance to re-check timing marks after a few revolutions. Should have added in the State of Utah and the University of Utah for Person of the year. They really stepped up in to being able to have the continuation of a SX season in 2020

The optics of the "tantrum" Forkner threw isn't very good. Barcia still gets crap for the couple of meltdowns he had years and years ago in 250's. If I'm Mitch Payton I'd remind him that people remember that kind of stuff. Of course I would have been just as hot......still want Osbourne to win it!
