A couple years ago when I took my son to Mammoth for the first time, I was happy to see that they were still handing out main event pins when I was pushing his bike up to the gate for the finals. I smoked for close to 10 years before quitting. What helped was vaping. Every few weeks I lowered the nicotine percentage until I reached the 0% nicotine liquid. After that it was more so the habit of smoking rather than the craving that took some getting use to. Took me a good 3-4 months all in all. It's been over 11 years since I quit. I don't miss it one bit. You got this.
