I removed the clutch and found the second metal plate from the bottom bent. Replaced all clutch metal plates. Fiber plates were all flat so I reinstalled them. It is better but not freely spinning as all my other bikes. Transmission was assembled with new bearings and shims and spun freely before I installed the clutch. Guess I'll tear it...

I am rebuilding a RMZ250. I had the oem crank rebuilt and when installing in the left case half it spins freely. Once the right case half is installed the crank will turn freely until it gets right at bottom dead center and it becomes hard to turn. I can turn it with some effort then it becomes free again...

Correct ring per my order and part number was correct on box. No damage to the ring at all, not even discolored. Just never had this happen in over 28 yrs of racing, riding and building bikes.

Yes. The stator woodruff key had sheared just enough to allow the ignition timing to be off, replaced it and starts on 2nd kick everytime. 3$ part was the problem.

Ecm installed. No change. Reinstalled stage 2 cam (original cam) rechecked valve clearance and installed new injector ( 1st new one tested out of ohm spec). Still no change. Only parts not replaced is throttle body. At a complete loss. Guess time to part out.

During the rebuild on a 2010 Crf250r I changed the Hotcam stage 2 to a stage 1. When I bought the bike it had a Tokyo Mods sticker on the ecm. Seller wasn't sure if it was flashed or not due to being 2nd owner. Could this cause the bike to not start by kicking or rolling off? MIL will...
