2012 RMZ250 crank problem

I am rebuilding a RMZ250. I had the oem crank rebuilt and when installing in the left case half it spins freely. Once the right case half is installed the crank will turn freely until it gets right at bottom dead center and it becomes hard to turn. I can turn it with some effort then it becomes free again once past bottom dead center. I have removed the case halves, rechecked the bearings and they are installed properly and sitting flush with the case on each side. I also tapped on the crank with a dead blow when it was assembled, it seems to help a littl but never turns completely free without resistance at the bottom dead center. At a loss with it. Anyone run into this before?1000001588.jpg?VersionId=gWXS

I may be wrong, but from your picture, it appears that you installed the crank backwards. That looks like the flywheel side of the crank but you have it facing the clutch side of the engine

That was originally correct. I noticed it and popped the crank back out and in the correct position before closing it up the first time. Just did not update the image before posting.

Have you checked your rod clearance?
