5/15/2018 7:37pm so i got new stator in and ran it 11/10/17 till race on 5/6/18. got 7 miles in and guess what..... it quit running after running in top 5-7 place and having loads of fun. tried pop stating it right away on the down hill it ran on fuel and air definitely sounded like no spark. pulled to side track...

11/1/2017 5:04pm i see after i took it a bit of bare wire sticking out ground plug. makes sense that the ground would need to complete a circuit through frame. what are the chance the “power” side of coil plug wiggiled while ridding it and lost some of its “juice” and couldn’t send it all to the plug instead it went back...

3/16/2017 6:04pm My cr250 did same thing spark when ever it wanted replaced stator and runs great Everyone pointed toward coil or CDI Stator creates the spark CDI reverses the polarity and sends it to the coil reduces it and feeds the spark plug If there's good air, good compression , good fuel, all you need is good spark Intake,compression, power (spark)...

3/9/2017 5:33pm I've got a 94' cr250 and had weak/no spark Specs okay according to Manuel but must be they say those specs and have you replace stator if in those specs So new stator later runs great first kick plenty spark 87.4 ohms and 235 ohms on new stator 174ohms and 232ohms on old stator Witch is in there specs

3/9/2017 5:27pm Update!!! It's alive and well Replace stator with electrosport one runs great lots of spark due to new coil from previous thoughts and new stator New one tested 87.4 ohms blue/white wire the exciter coil wires 235 ohms blue/yellow and green/white wire the pulse coil wires

3/3/2017 7:52pm According to my manual primary resistance should be 0.2-0.4 ohms on 93' and newer cr250 and secondary resistance should be 9-16k ohms with spark cap on and 10-16k ohms without cap all tests take above 68 degrees like manual suggests Have a new NGK replacement cap on and I cleaned ground coil to frame to bare metal with a grinder
