And I agree, the forced talking points and overuse of double boxes/battle boxes is infuriating. The "battle box" just feels like a lazy excuse to watch 2 groups of riders with the drone rather than go out there and find the action with the better shots. We spend entire laps overseeing a battle for 6th and a battle for 4th overhead where it's all so zoomed out on the drone that I can barely see what I'm supposed to be watching anyway

It's horrific. Not only are there four announcers, they all speak way too much - and often about rubbish. Focus on the race. Let some space into the commentary. Go watch boxing commentary for how it should be done.

The time between motos can (should) be used for discussing storylines, instead we get fishing with Levy and dirt bath dunking with Katie.

They constantly have pre canned storylines they want to talk about like it’s a soap opera and then whoever they decided deserves story time they just follow that rider around to make the story seem relevant: this is done regardless of if that riders shredding, in a battle, on the ground, out of the race etc lol. They just talk like it’s a day time drama or a podcast rather than an actual race. It is infuriating. Mxgp treats it like formula 1 Ama treats it like it’s the Netflix drama show of formula 1

They're literally the same imo. Both are completely fine as an interviewer but neither should talk multiple times during a moto. Idk why the broadcast crew constantly wants them to be involved during the live action when they have JT there, it doesn't make sense to me

You can get away with using normal air in the bladder of the WP closed cartridge forks that came on the 07-13 XCs. They have a bladder very similar to a rear shock. You cannot, however, get away with using normal compressed air in a rear shock bladder. You have to use Nitrogen. That thing is moving a lot, sometimes very, very quickly. Nitrogen can be compressed under these conditions, repeatedly, over and over again without creating any moisture in the process. Normal air cannot. The setup guy at a dealership is usually a young person employed by the sales department. The more experienced techs employed by the service department usually do not assemble the machines. We all know SX brings the most money. You have to have a lot of skill to ride a SX track, which very few people who actually ride can do. But I also feel that SX can sometimes just be whoever can last the season being consistent and without getting hurt. And still....I think MX overall is better and I feel like the guys who win are incredible. Going 30+2 laps against guys that have been riding MX their whole lives seems like a more badass title to me.

^^ Facts. Motocross is Core, its what we all grew up doing , but SX is a nice tidy made-for-TV package that brings in the big bucks, and draws the sponsors.....

SX title is probably tops in the industry…. It has the viewership and brings the big $$. I like it all, but the outdoor MX format is still my favorite watch.
