I grew up with bikes in the family so I've heard and read "Malcolm" stories all my life. Anytime I'd get through a technical section well or clear a double for the first time my dad would say "Neat Malcolm, neat." I'm still partial to MSR gear. lol. willbilly I've definitely lead a more interesting life.

Not sure if it's been mentioned here before, but Hunky's daughter has been rallying support to get him inducted into the AMA Hall of Fame. He didn't make it this year. That class was just announced. Both he and Mr. Hinz should be in there, IMO.

3/11/2022 11:36am I think it has more to do with how a shorter wheelbase will turn tighter and transition quicker mid-turn when accelerating. I always feel like my 01 is pushing the front through the exit if my axle is back and/or the forks are flush in the clamps.

Each person is going to have a different view on what the most beautiful bike(s) of all time is. Some people prefer old school, vintage iron. Some love the high end works bikes of the 80's. There are those who think bikes continue to get better every year and prefer the more modern lines of today's bikes. Truth be told, the Cannondale bike, at the time, was raved about by people for it's modern looks and forward thinking. Think about it... you know you wanted one.
