Have been racing off and on since 1982. In the last couple of years have raced more than ever now with my kids now racing. 2006 District 16 Vet B Champ. (On a 125!) Nothing beats spending the weekend camping and racing with my family.I will have 3 sons racing this year so I'm hoping to win the lottery very soon!

July 08. First ride on a friends 06 YZ250F. As a long time 2 stroke guy I hate to admit that I liked it. Not nearly as fast as my RM 250 but I'm looking forward to seeing how I would do on a 450.

Dr Sweden, I think there is a problem in your post by saying you are putting your faith in the Leatt. That is the wrong attitude I think. You cant still break your neck with a Leatt or worse. Each time you get into your car and buckle up you know your chances are bettter with your seat belt but...

Maybe they should actually pay the pro riders to come and race. There is a novel idea. So instead they just want the gates filled with riders that might not be at the skill level needed. That is bad for the sport from all angles. Pay these guys well to show up and race and not charge them to race...

I heard something interesting regarding concussions. I help out with my sons football team and a sports doctor talked to us about the importance of a proper mouth guard. He said the Majority of severe consussions come from the jaw getting slammed shut very hard and the shock from the teeth slamming together is very bad on the brain. A...
