About Me

I used to ride but had to quit some 8 yearsago when i hurtmy knee pretty bad. I started working with mx back then insted, and still do this running my own company.

I love 2strokes, prefere motocross over sx, so I'm pretty oldschool i guess.

My favourite riders are Mickael Pichon and Christophe Pourcel.

I'm 33years old, married, two kids and not enough time/money to buy a bike just for fun.

BTW... I think 4strokes are the root to all things evil in our sport. They are expensive, sound ugly, makes the racing less demanding etc. I could go on 4ever. I hate them...

All I wanted to say is "GO PRADO". NONE of the people criticizing you have won a World Motocross Championship, let alone 3. Frankly baffled how people who, have nothing do with the sugar "energy" drink + Japanese manufacturer, feel so passionately about a Spanish person letting THEM down. This is an uber-elite level athlete who wants to win so badly that he can rationally see the setup around him won't deliver the results. Nothing more, nothing less. Looking forward to the nationals next year when it's 2 Australians and a Spaniard at the front.

I think we're "finally" seeing the true effects of the bad overall economy and especially a bad powersports market. I think this is the reality the coming 3-5 years at least.

Why cant we have 2 strong and competitive classes? EMX250 is supposed to be the class for younger boys (and girls), not MX2. Age rule in EMX250 - Fine, I get it. In MX2 world championship - really dumb. Right now EMX250 and MX2 are way too similar. I cannot understand why someone arent allowed to make a career out of beeing a great MX2 rider. All this age rule in MX2 does is that it makes the MX2 field weak, and tons and tons of great riders without a ride because MXGP is too crowded with too few rides...

In the one i could find he said chassi, engine, tripleclamps and offset as well as linkage. He didn’t say ”frame” to be honest. But he pointed out the bikes were quite different to a degree it was pointless to share info

Herlings officially announced at Hawkstone International, on Feb 15th.. Febvre was there last year , and we have seen Yamaha guys there in the past, so we might get a Herlings/Febvre/Gajser battle before the season even starts. And we have seen De Wulf there as well. Already excited.

I actually listened to a recent interview with Febvre where he said you can’t even compare the bikes. Almost everything was different on his bike including the frame. I can’t remember which one it was but i’m sure of what i heard.

Maybe a bit off topic, but this is quite a nice interview about the championship in Brasil, seems like there is money there for the riders. Older GP guys and French Elite riders. A contract for -26 must have some legal meaning? Did Watson and Koch leave because they wanted to or did Beta cancel their contracts? Is Geerts from a wealthy background? If you choose to live in Monaco one might wonder why he doesn’t bet on himself going privateer with the brand of his choice and personal sponsors?
