did you order a new inlet sleeve so the fmf would fit onto the stock header? I just bought a slip-on for mine and it does not fit snug like it should against the header. Im assuming I just need a thicker insert but wasn't sure.

I couldn't tell you for sure. The bike came with the FMF slip on with a stock head pipe. I can tell you the stock silencer and the FMF were interchangeable without additional parts.
