Back in the day you wanted a new bike every 2-3 years just because they where so much better. Now it seems ride them until the wheels fall off is a good option.

Haiden Deegan is the worst speaker ever. He really needs to take a class on how to have some class. Complete douche. He’s an embarrassment to motocross speech!!! His riding is decent but his podium speeches suck!!

Resale is a real kick in the balls as dirtbikes have a shelf life if you race them ( unlike street bikes ). Buy KTMs for $10k and flipping for $5k is a tough one to swallow especially after you spend money to dial in the suspension etc.. Not to mention everyone knows someone that has been killed on a street bike - I know several unfortunately. 3rd world commuter cycles are a whole different story.

Which are, of course, both quite small segments when you are a global brand knocking on the door of half a million sales a year. The entire off road market in North America for all makes and models, most of which are not competition-oriented, is roughly 100,000 bikes.
