5/17/2016 2:52pm Yeah, that thought crossed my mind too. In all reality, I'll have nothing but time to waste in Vegas while my buddy is going to conferences and seminars, so Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon are do-able for me in an afternoon right from Vegas, then just skip those on the way to Denver... And yeah, as much as I'd like...

5/17/2016 2:37pm I actually really like it! Very easy to navigate, looks clean, simple (which is a welcome change of pace from some of the others out there). The one thing I like is that when you hover over a photo of a particular kit it shows you the other bike/color options that you can then click and see on the page...

5/17/2016 2:23pm Well I believe it's about an 11-hour drive straight through, so if we spread that out over 4 days, we'll only have a few hours of driving per day. Probably wouldn't want to get more than about an hour off the route, but it's all up in the air at this point. It probably just boils down to whether said...

5/17/2016 2:02pm I seemed to remember one of the magazines doing a CRF400 with a LA Sleeve kit on a CRF450. Can't remember whether they liked it or not, but i'm sure you could do the same thing with the Yamaha

5/14/2016 6:24am My Dad bought a year-old 1986 XR250 back in the day and raced enduros with it for years. That thing is amazing, he still has it! The first time he took the top end apart was in 2006, and everything was absolutely perfect inside still. I know it sounds cliche, but they damn sure don't make them like that anymore...

5/13/2016 2:54pm I always loved the Lefty when I was a mechanic. It's so friggin easy to work on it's almost cheating. Performance-wise, I don't know if I noticed a spectacular difference in anything other than how smooth it was. There's hardly any stiction because of the lack of bushings (they use needle bearings instead), so it's really smooth feeling. For anything...

5/10/2016 2:27pm That's the first thing that I thought when I saw it too. I like this new guy's lines though, something that you don't see very often in the skate world. Rodney Mullen is still my favorite skateboarder by far though...dude is unreal

TailSoHard Started a new thread Did some turbo testing today
5/10/2016 11:48am Got to romp around Silver Lake Dunes today to do some testing on the new Yamaha YXZ 1000R with the MPI Turbo kit we installed not too long ago. Yamaha was there doing some dealer demos so it was a good baseline to be able to compare the turbo to the non-turbo models. Also brought along our new Can-Am Maverick...

5/10/2016 11:48am Yeah the trail-riding might be tough if you get into some slow-speed sections where you need to be on the clutch a lot but other than that I was thoroughly impressed. We're a dealer for Polaris, Yamaha, Can-Am, and Arctic Cat and I have no reservations about telling people the Yamaha is the way to go - with the exception...

5/10/2016 11:26am I noticed some heat issues on the Can-Am, but not on the YXZ. But it was 70 and windy, so it may be a different story once it gets up to 90 this summer...
