Your stuff looks great! I'm curious how you paint the red on the covers. Is that Cerakote as well? I'd imagine that would require masking and additional curing times?

Great job man, Excellent bike to restore. Probably the most unique Looking bike ever. I bought 1 new, 2,700. 00 out the door. I got a case of oil and 2 Suzuki jackets included. Man do I miss the 90,s.

I too suspect its to do with manufacturing process. As oil flow channels I don't see how they add access to anything useful, the oil is just flung off the basket anyway

More likely to be fixturing holes used during manufacture, none of the manufacturers specify their orientation, it's probably doesn't make a difference.

I never got a response from anyone who said they had one. I’m still in the market for one. I might try to get a graphics company to try to do up a modern Shoei. I don’t want to do a full boat custom paint job though because I kinda think the helmet itself isn’t that cool looking.

I’ve used spray vinyl dye on seats before to change lettering or add design. I made this seat cover to match the graphics. Nstyle didn’t sell the seat cover so made my own.

Yeah, $400!!! I took photos of fully restored 83’s that were selling for less that his asking price then once I started bs’ing him with “it needs this” “it needs that” he broke and said “what do you think it’s worth…” “I just want it gone today..” Ok, great……$300…..I’ll take $400…..deal! Simple as that! Dude was a stoner so probably couldn’t remember what he listed if for! Once he saw the dollars in hand, that sealed it! I couldn’t believe it either!
