12/25/2019 4:29pm One more question please, I'm an older guy, don't race, ...used to when I was young, I'm pretty mechanical, but I just keep this yz250 maintained. .. anyway, it has taken a whole quart. I just did it. Prior to that, drained the crank case. My manual says keep adding until it flows out. Is that right ? My gosh...

Rick, move the cir clip on the needle up to the next slot, this will let less fuel (more air) into the cylinder. If you reach the top slot on the needle and it’s still dripping black gunk it’s time to move to a smaller main jet.

11/30/2019 8:37pm I know I'm gonna get some "ribbing" for my simple question. I was told the black fluid, coming out, cause I need replace seal, where fatty pipe goes into cylinder. But was told my bike running too rich. I adjust the idle screw in the past, and it does nothing. The pilot screw all the way in, then 2 turns...
