'02. Yz250. Help. Exaust problem or something worse

No trouble with this bike ever. But need new exaust fatty pipe seals. But NOW dripping black fluid from where the seals go, ( goin into the head.) Gonna take fatty pipe off tomorrow, but was wondering from you guys...is the leak just from carbon type build up ? Or mabey coolant getting in there ? Which means i got a leak. Its a '02. Yz250. Thanx

Might be spooge from running rich or not having a complete burn.
