one"O"three Added a reply to so whats next for Adam Cianciarulo?

I think the hype is all that because he is a like RC, JS and MA. He has produced comparable results as those three, all while racing above his age group. The fact you are even mentioning Cooper, who is two years older then him, should tell you that. RC, JS and MA all raced in their respected age groups...

Depends on the job they do. I would imagine a sponsored mini rider's dad who works construction is compensated less then a sponsored mini rider's dad who is a doctor. The compensation would be the same for both, in the form of a paycheck from their employer. Is your question, how is the sponsored mini rider compensated?

one"O"three Added a reply to The next Carmichael and Stewart?

Possible? Highly unlikely for sure. Let's say we had super baby on a pw. He wins the championship when he is three (the first year the AMA allows him to race), backs it up at four years old. Then jumps to the 4-6 peewee class. Promptly wins that class at five and six years old before moving on to the...

6 LL's titles? Not sure your numbers are right, but you did say "I may be wrong". And dr519, AC did not race during his 7 year old year on a 50. If I am not mistaken, and I know I am not, AC only won once at LL's on a 50, same for Stilez (so far).

Maybe you have not heard, but he has done things at LL's that those two did not. Winning both 85 titles as a 10 year old for one. I think he has 7 LL's title to date. (I think) RC had 9 and James 11, I would say he is keeping pace so far. I see others like to compare...

one"O"three Added a reply to Central Florida's Bithlo Closed

2/2/2011 9:55am
Did some checking when I read this. We spend some time in Florida and Bithlo has always been a great track. Turns out the track manager had a personal emergency (not track related) and was unable to work that day. The track is not in any financial trouble, in fact, I was told they are planning some track changes in...

one"O"three Added a reply to Cianciarulo on big bike

He has had that bike since LL's 2010. I think he's only rode it a few times (when his supermini is being re-built). I know once he grows into it, his parents will give him the OK to go fast. Give him a few months and I'm sure we will see him on it more often.

I'm sure the research has been done, if the masses would be willing to pay $2.50 more for a ticket, then it would have already been done with the profits going into the promoter’s pocket. Once the riders demand it, with real ramification should it not be done, will that have any possibility. Even then, I'm not so sure. The...

The riders making it will never see the need, and why should they, they have NO need. A guy making millions does not need to worry about the guy paying $60,000 a year, if he goes away, another steps in. It has been that way for years, for ever! Don't be disappointed when you don't get the support you are...

Form a union to unite the riders, force the hand of the promoters and demand partial ownership of the series. Any cowboy can tell you that’s how it's done! Impossible, I know!

A cap would allow the OEM's to spread the wealth, so to speak. I don't think a Cap is the only answer, as the future is not with the OEM's. Ask Dungey who his biggest check is coming from over the next few years. I can tell you it will not be from Suzuki, or KTM, or any other OEM...

The show can not go on without any riders, BUT, a rider can not get paid without the show. It's about risk, once the powerful voices in the sport decide a union is worth the risk, we will see a union. I don't blame them after all, it is their main source of income. You want to change it as...

Rup, Remember this, the people you think can help either have the most to lose, or the most to gain. Know the difference! Unfortunately, the power rest in the hands of those who do not want, or need, a union.
