offroadnomore Added a reply to This has to mess with USA's confidence
9/30/2012 8:39pm Yeah, the Americans did ok considering the sand thing. But I agree that I don't think most of us thought Herlings and AC would be that much better...? didn't we? It seems most of the comments on here had us doing much better. But the one positive as I think was said, is that this will not happen again because...

offroadnomore Started a new thread So would Herlings have won Unadilla this year?
9/30/2012 7:29pm Obviously Herlings is great in the sand and probably would be a favorite at Southwick but what is it about the sand that he has mastered and would that carry over to certain hard track situations here? Line selection, just more accustomed to that kind of roughness, focus? So with Unadilla being as rough as it was this year, would...

offroadnomore Added a reply to Well, that was ugly...
9/30/2012 8:07am Yeah, Herlings and AC are pretty impressive in the sand. It would seem they would not stuggle that bad over here as we would over there overall. Granted, our top guys would probably win on the harder tracks over there but really struggle in the sand whereas they are still good on the hard stuff so would do better over...

9/29/2012 7:05pm Not even worried about it, USA wins again! I almost put easily in there but figured I would let the Euros see a chink in our confidence, they've had it pretty hard over the last decade or so. .

9/29/2012 6:53pm Dungey that far down..? I just assumed you were drunk when you wrote that. Dungey with good goggles easily would have got to third today. With another 10 minutes maybe second. Bagget looked good and if Barcia accepts getting passed.... as a team, its USA's to lose.
offroadnomore Added a reply to Is this the biggest jump ever.........on a Husky???
9/22/2012 9:24pm thats more than 75 feet, That's atleast 100 ft and probably 120 or so to sweet spot of landing. Not a big deal though really is it..its not like its a BSA from 1960..
offroadnomore Added a reply to WMA and the return of 4-stroke nationals??
9/20/2012 9:08pm Don't be an idiot and knock this. This series brings extremely talented riders (maybe not top tier, but very good) to places that may not get to see races of this level. Arizona doesn't get an AMA outdoor but it use to be (and apparently is again) home to one of these events and I saw, Dusty Klatt, Chris Blose...
offroadnomore Added a reply to track cutting
9/8/2012 10:34pm yeah, but what is the definition of an advantage? Certainly gaining a position is one we all agree, but what if cutting a corner gains you an extra couple seconds on the rider in front of you and with two laps to go, that makes the difference between you passing on last corner...?
offroadnomore Added a reply to RD5- Best deal in Mx
9/1/2012 8:55pm Not once have I ever seen the names of inured riders out for the season next to the name of the series champion in the record book.

9/1/2012 5:51pm Wow, that double is a little over the top it seems, I don't know, those poor amateurs. Yeah, that dirt isn't the best, it overly hard packs and after watering, its gonna be like ice....could be a sketchy race for those 250 guys.
offroadnomore Added a reply to If it wasn't true, you'd have to laugh
8/1/2012 3:23pm ha ha, that could have been a clip from a Farrelly brothers movie about mx...funny stuff

7/20/2012 5:58pm ha ha, why do people assume its the reverse engine that may (I say may because the facts aren't there regardless of what is said on here) cause issues? The frame is all new as is most everything else on the bike so maybe it the new frame that causes the issue and the setup is just harder to figure...
offroadnomore Added a reply to The Tuning Fork Brand
7/15/2012 12:52am I think "the man" would require a change to the current gen Yamaha before any of that. KTM will dominate in USA shortly.
offroadnomore Added a reply to How's this for a rut?
7/15/2012 12:02am Wow, that's graduate level rut instruction at Speedworld in Arizona...(I just try to find or form a new smaller one on the edge of track......)
