Didn't DV confirm that RV just resigned a new 2-3 yr deal with Kawasaki about 2 weeks ago? RV to JGR.....that would be interesting.

According to the silly season podcast RacerX did last week RV is not signed. He was unhappy with the terms offered from Kawi on the first pass. Supposedly he's looking for 3 years then be done with racing.

My bet is he'll stay green......but you never know I guess. I think we'll know more from the RV camp here in a couple weeks. Usually after Washougal the gates open up and more info becomes main stream. Personally.....I'd like to see him stay on the Kaw's.......it started his career.....I'd like to see him finish on one as well.

JGR is hard after Dean Wilson. Yamaha is going to throw wads of cash to him to go blue with JGR being the factory team basically. DW would get paid directly from Yamaha under the JGR tent. RV on Kawi still isn't inked yet from what I hear but it's close.

true or not "perception is reality" and with all the bad vibes on Yamaha this year the only way they are gonna get anybody on that bike is with wads of cash...................and with whoever they get better hope they can ride it and be competitive!!

I remember reading that RV's uncle (who posts on here) wrote that he heard RV was talking to Honda ... I think RV will end up on Kawasaki again but I wouldn't be surprised if Kawi does what it did to RC and JS.

yeah for sure lucero.......kaw track record always let the high $$$ go because of younger ones in the mix........not that I think they are at a level yet but they got Weimer, Tickle, maybe a Wilson, and a little longer road but AC..........

not surprised if they let RV walk.........not at all...........question is options for him..........only realistic one I would think is a Honda ride somewhere.......22, LB/Mc, factory???

I'd have to say Suzuki not an option, doubt he'd want to gamble on JGR no mater what the rumor, again based on past results, and really doubt he'd be in the running to go to KTM................

but shit stranger things have happened all along.............Mc going to Suzuki 11th hour, and then damn near pullin off the championship.................guess it'll come down to how bad Kawi pisses him off........and how big is anyone elses check to offset the risk.......

RV to KTM for $5 million for 2 years like Dungey, then a 1 year $2.5 million contract extension to go race the GPs. That would be cool.
