who were the top socal 100cc cc experts in the 70's? were the 80cc riders like myerscough,holley,ect.way too big for their bikes when they moved up?

thanks,guys for the responses.i thought of a few more.joey dee,doug nicol,paul emerson,bobby sullivan.how about minicycle magazine test riders like john rudder,mike mcatee,billy keffer?also,those 80cc bikes were pretty short back then,why did so many guys ride them at 15-16 yrs old? what about the full size 100 cc bikes?who were the top guys on them?

i recall reading j.w. was a factory suzuki rider in the 100 class around 1976,but i think he was riding minis,too.anyone remember?when did he graduate out of the 80cc class?

mike lewis,son of actress kasey rodgers,was a socal mini racer in the seventies.anyone know his whereabouts?does he stii ride/race?. also,what about team DGrider paul emerson?
