I'm looking for moto and overall results from the '74 World Mini. Anybody know where I can find them?

I'm specifically looking for the 80cc expert class 12-15 modified with Jeff Ward in it. I ended up 5th in the class and wanted to see who else was in the class and how I finished in the motos. I also led the run-off for a lap or two until I crashed. I'm also looking for the 125 Expert class. Warren Reid and Mike Bell were listed in the program (I was not) and I took the overall win and once again wanted to see my moto finishes.

Did you ever live in Ormond By the Sea, Florida? Just wondering.

While on the topic, has anyone got the MXA that has the World Mini GP results from '79. Had DeCoster on the front on a Suzi with Ribi forks if I remember right.

I was third in the ROC behind Kehoe and Holland but have lost all my clippings on the event.

We're getting a little off track here. I'm sure SOMEBODY has an article somewhere on the '74 World Mini. I'm from Texas so I didn't see any press on it.

How 'bout World Mini? World Mini info (951) 587-9805 or 490-2008. Maybe they can help.
You'll be lucky if they still got that archived.
Go to Cycle News website and ask as well. You'll also be lucky there too.
I'd give you Jeff Wards number, but he told me to not give it out.
Good luck.

I've left messages at the numbers above and done a Google search. I'm getting close, but not there yet. What local newspapers that may have covered it are still around? Of course the real coverage was probably in Cycle News, Mini Cycle, etc. Can anyone guess when/where my avatar pic was taken?

Right year, wrong track. I'm right behind Marty on #439. I saw him and Hanna again about 20 minutes later when they lapped me!

Thanks for the tip on the phone number. Ron Hendricksen left me a voice mail over the weekend.

I spoke with Ron today and he does not have anything archived from the '74 event. He actually remembered me, much to my surprise. He said "you wore glasses and rode a YZ, right?" He then asked me about Shaun Kelley and others from back then. Nice guy. Personally invited me to Ponca as his guest.
