Maybe Troy Blake. Or a Kawi guy? Storer? It's a tough call.

I'm not sure, but we all went to Anaheim in 1980. Kehoe and Holland rode 80's and I think it was there last race on the mini before moving up to the 125. If you recall, there was a small drop off on the starting line. It kicked Keho up onto his front wheel and then indo'd about 4 times. Im pretty sire this was the first time they ran amature races in the stadium. It was on a Sat.

Fun fact for you guys, i was sponsored by Erik Kehoe yep! i did R&D work for him, he was so very intereested in learning the art of engine porting, and i was his guinea pig for awhile, Erik and his family are really great people, anyways he was a much better racer than engine builder, although he wasn't bad at engine porting, just not that good enough to build anything real competetive, he sure enjoyed playing with my old R&D cylinders.

I was 12 when we stopped going to the track so I really dont remember?? Do you still ride? I just bought a new bike and ride on practice days at Pala,Barona with my buddies and go to glamis a few times a year. I still have my mono shock MR 50 and its in great shape.

Stats: 3 time national and 4 time 50cc world mini champ, 1 time 50cc IROC (Italjets) champ and when I retired (at 12) I had 300+ trophies. Paul Denis, Rudy Dickenson, Michael Komens, Timmy Tomiselly, Kurt Hendrickson were all the top dogs I raced against and Im sorry if Ive forgot anyone. I will try and get some pics loaded later.

I agree. I wish you guys would start a picture thread. I lost all of my old MX magazines from the 80's when I moved away from home. I'm sure everyone here would love to see them.Smile

You need a scanner, or someone with a scanner. Scan the old photograph into a computer and then you can save it on a flash drive, CD, etc and then transfer it to your computer.
