3 Hours a day for 2 years. I hope to someday have as many bike laps around it as i do tractor and walking laps currently... and damn is it fun..

I was on vacation, in Portland (rainy, cold, terrible to drive in) last week to see my Daughter from Grants Pass and my brother from Bremerton WA and his family. After hiking one day, I told my family, we are less than 20 minutes from Washougal MX, and even if I have to look at it from through a fence, I'm going! Much to my surprise I drove right in, I must say, a beautiful place and an incredible track. Someone was walking towards us, I thought he's coming to throw us out, I told him we were from Iowa...

I wouldn't say I have my stuff figured out. A lot of my stuff isn't... I'm divorced, I've lived alone for the last 7 years, I learn everyday how to best myself as a father and I don't know much about anything else other than SX or MX... I do have the luxury not to rely on anyone's paycheck. I've made my money. I paid my divorced settlement in 1 deed signature and 1 wire transfer. Never blew money. Always invested and most importantly, I'm living very modestly compare to what I could be doing... I live in a "cheap"...

Ok, I have to comment. The Gary Bailey YouTube page has for sure become one of my favorites lately. He has put up so much great older footage that most of us will never get to see. I am in a very fortunate situation where I was/am able to go over and watch Travis ride. When that supercross track was built, it was like field of dreams! When you rode through the woods and got to the track, the way the sun illuminated this perfectly built track was something to be seen! I will have to dig around to see...

It's funny when shit like this is asked and i quickly realize that (for the most part) all moto guys are wired the same! Just like the wheelie thread while back... Curios though - does anyone look at mountain ranges or hills off in the distance and make rhythm sections in your head?

This event needs to be live on a major network channel, I think the casual viewer can get more into this event than most others - constant action and plenty of photo finishes. That was fun!
