Attention Racers The Night before the Mile has been Rescheduled to Friday August 9th and the Amateur Mile will Be Sunday August 11th. This is due to incoming weather. The Sacramento mile will be ran on Saturday August 10th. Nitro Circus will be the Monday the 20th. What a shitty time for some May showers. ( Besides for Hangtown obviously...

I was so fan of Tallon. I saw him ride 5/6 times in my life and he was my favorite rider after Everts. The JHK Kawi team was sick. Beautiful to watch, so modern for this MXGP era. Pumped for him and Max. The kid is special.

Challenges conquered by Max: 1 Navigating through bouncing tuff blocks and a tumbling rider while maintaining control. 2 Working into the lead. 3 Battling for the lead. 4 Riding smooth and mistake free to the finish. 5 Nursing a motor across the finish line. 6 Handling pressure of the motor swap with a live tv crew under his easy up. 7 Putting worry out of his mind for the 2nd race. 8 Working his way into the lead. 9 Good post race interview. Well done Max!

So I am toolin around the Hangtown track on on my KTM, watching races from all angles around the place. I come around a corner in VIP parking lot, and POW! Its Bob Hannah pissing in the wind. I managed 1 top 10 all season. Pissed all over myself all year. Good job getting a decent result. No Toyota truck or new 450 though. Oh well. Next time. Hangtown is next!

He is lucky the bike was upright and being pushed off. He hits a downed bike or the rider, things go bad quick. Its racing. He still rode good. He charged to the end.
