So yesterday i took my 150 to Argyll mx, old school out doors with deep loam for Cali. Bike is stock aside from carb and shorty. Today I took the 450, all stock. I am no quicker on the 450 (rather no less slow, lol)... but, and a big but... The 150 is a fooking death trap, it's fast and every lap has a come to Jesus moment. I was in a hurry, and only did 3 full motos... the 4th moto is rough and I was gassed. Today, on the 450 rode 5 sessions no problem, even went in...

10/4/2023 12:53am wouldnt go for a 450 mx bike if you only ride singel track style of tracks. I dont know but your trails might be wide and fast and if thats the case a 450 would work but if it is tight trails I would go for a 350. Got a KX450 -23 and would not like to ride it on...

If u dont wanna go the stock exhaust route you could just reduce the size of the end cap of your silencer as someone allready mentioned but generelly speaking the long stock silencer will give you smooth...
