That was caused by a normal "leaned out" condition likely caused by something like an air leak, it just made a really interesting scar like that because of the way the ring broke, and ran down the cylinder in 2 pieces. The head looks fine, that bit around the spark plug just looks like the way the casting was done...

nah, i thought the same thing it looks like it would wobble but its really sturdy, you can put a foot on one of the legs if you need. they are made to be stepped on. I learned that you shouldn't really be fighting the tire enough to make it unstable. I use the stand 2 bead buddys and 2x...
