Why part out a 19hr bike? Always curious when I see these. I understand the rolling chassis sales but can't figure out full part outs on newer bikes. You got way more patience than I do.. lol

Do you have the title that says it was from Chad? Edit.... Re read, you have the title that it was Chads bike. 👊🏻 You are going to get eaten alive with that brake lever on there, it just throws off this is Chad Reeds bike with a Tusk brake lever. Just my 2 cents but for $7500 bucks for a 6 year old bike I would do my best to make it as authentic as possible.

I also can’t recommend FasterUSA enough. These wheels are going to be killer. These are stock hubs with the casting lines removed, ceracoated, then laced up to bulldog spokes and excel rims with Galfer rotors.

Any idea of hours on this topend/bike? If in doubt/unknown, replace and install an hour meter. For your info, these motors are extremely durable and can run hundreds of hours under 'normal' conditions with quality 2-stroke lube and clean intake. Measuring piston clearance is not an easy job and is best left to the pros. The tolerances are so small, it can be difficult to do this accurately. I usually go off compression reading and hours to make this decision to replace piston. For the price/headache, if you're not sure, put a new piston and rings in it.

Sorry my english is not Perfect, i miss a part of the question. Yes it Will be better To check the clearance before all. Check the big end and small end gap of the connecting rod . For the small end , check if he have always the "babbitt bearing" coating all around the inside and for the rest if he is in the specs of good To go.

4/16/2020 11:53am My 2016 350SX-F looked like that as well but I thought it would be good to give it a quick hone so I did. I would assume that after that many hours, you would still have a small glazing layer that isn’t visible with the naked eye but could affect oil distribution in the cylinder.
