Ah I see. That's a possibility. According to Triumph it's called a "Fill control tube". Not sure how that helps control filling it though.

What is the white plastic piece for inside the fuel tank? Splash protection or something?

Had my first race on the Triumph. And first race in about twenty years. Managed a fifth overall and fifth in class in 40+. They ran 40+ and 50+ on the same gate, seven riders in each class. My goal was to not crash and have fun, and I accomplished both. I really need to work on getting in shape again. That’s the biggest thing holding me back these days. And now I want to hit a few more races this summer.

Manopka Added a reply to The "Scoop"..................tire

Yes. Tons of riders have stated that it's because the start is ripped so deep that a scoop is needed for a good start. and a good start is so important that they rather sacrifice around the rest of the track for a better start.
Jumped timing somehow? Tipped over in a sand corner. Picked the bike up and it sounded awful. Had someone take the top off and it was it was an entire tooth off. Maybe two. 8 hours on it. But I took to a different dealer this time after getting in touch with the warranty manager of triumph. They're rebuilding almost...
Pulled the trigger today. $7607 out the door at Romney Cycles. Already ordered that carbon skid plate from the UK and some SKDA numbers. Taking it out Sunday for its first ride. I’m stoked!

It sounded completely normal. It's just sliding on the plastic slider. Sounds exactly the same as it would sliding on the inside of the slider. And I did check over the bike but I was mainly focused on the alternator cover they replaced and the master link clip since that's what was messed up the first time. I also did...
Got my bike back last Friday. Took it out to Perris yesterday. Chain popped off the sprocket and I couldn't figure out why. I had checked the tension in the chain 2 or 3 times before riding. Turns out dealership installed the chain going around the outside of the chain slider instead of through it. I've been trying to be...
Finally got my bike back on Friday. The dealership was right. There are indeed two small tiny bolts/plugs and one has a small hole and the other is solid. You can see the solid one on the outside of the alternator cover. The other one with the hole is on the inside. Haven't taken it out yet but rode it...

Honestly it's been very hard to be patient. But the guy at the service department has been super cool with me and it sounds like he's super frustrated as well with Triumphs lack of urgency. But dealership called me yesterday. England is sending them another alternator cover with the restrictor bolts already installed. So still not sure what the correct...
