Well according to my dealer they've been trying to contact Triumph repeatedly and Triumph is slow to respond. And when they did finally respond all they did was send them the parts diagram. But I talked to my dealer last week and apparently Triumph North America has escalated the issue to the main Triumph office in the UK.

As far as talking to Triumph North America directly I have directly contacted them twice. Each time they just told me to have my dealer contact them.b

Got it. #27 comes with it, but curious why they cant reuse the bolts it came with if only the cover was damaged (guessing chain took it out)

Yeah it's 24. Supposedly they're different but that print shows them as the same.

I asked my dealer about reusing one and they said they looked damaged and they didn't think they could get it out without further damaging it.

This is what the case looked like.

That’s a bummer.

You’re much more patient than I. Getting that repaired should be much more a priority to them.  If it was my problem I would definitely be involved. A lot of the guys working in shops are not what you call “go getters”, they just work there. They do not follow up on things but instead wait to be contacted. You can be in for a long wait.

Honestly it's been very hard to be patient. But the guy at the service department has been super cool with me and it sounds like he's super frustrated as well with Triumphs lack of urgency.

But dealership called me yesterday. England is sending them another alternator cover with the restrictor bolts already installed.

So still not sure what the correct bolts are but I should hopefully have my bike back by next week.
