Honestly, it would likely be perfectly fine. I would think being in my truck bed would protect it a lot on its own from any direct spray of salty water.

I scored on what I thought was a good deal on about the only 2020 KX left in Michigan. Just got home from picking it up at Lakeside Motorsports in Mecosta. Got it for $8282 otd.

I’m also looking at it as a ‘21 taken off the lot is now a used bike but a ‘20 taken off the lot is now a year old used bike. It will definitely be worth less than the ‘21 as soon as it’s titled.
