9/29/2022 11:59am Ti on the linkage. Got the shock rebuilt, just needs some nitro. It's all coming back off, just on there for test fitment.
Forks also done. If anyone has one of these, you can use this Yamaha fork kit. You will need 1 extra bushing for the forks.
The lugs are a bit faded, at some point I'll get those redone.

9/22/2022 12:09pm The original plastic tank had gone yellow and looked naff. An alloy tank saved the day! I was in 2 minds to paint it or to go with white decals... but the plain alloy looks amazing! The seat "button" is billet alloy, (anodised black) the retainer screw is Titanium, as is the tank strap screw. HRC spec billet alloy and Ti air filter screw. Finished it off with the some replica AMA tech stickers, H-O-T replica decal set and Todds '93 race number. The amount of new and NOS parts that have gone into it is insane. Now shes finished...

9/22/2022 12:08pm All new OEM cables and kill switch.
The original "short tip" gear lever was in really good condition. Vapour blasted the lever, had the tip and spring re zinc plated. Made up a little Titanium pivot pin.
A few more details. HRC spec alloy nuts. HRC spec alloy brake clevis. I made the rear master cylinder push-rod assembly in Titanium.

9/20/2022 12:53pm I'm gonna jump ahead a little here. I did take loads of photos but i cant find em!! Any way. I managed to save the barrel. The PV's were seized in there pretty good, but we did managed to get them out with out scrapping the barrel. It was sent out for re-plating. Everything was vapour blasted, and then the bottom end was Cerakoted the correct satin black. All build up, with shed loads of new, new OEM and NOS parts. The engine studs are Ti, with stainless nuts. The case screw set is "HRC" spec (flat topped with no...

9/20/2022 12:53pm Engine wise, the Barrel and cases were ported, the carb was bored out to 38mm and there was a "team issue" PC pipe. Its different to the production/customer PC pipe. Much thinner material, and a very different shape. Other than that, its was pretty stock.

9/20/2022 12:53pm There's a big gap in the pics. It took me so long to get her done, I've lost a lot of "progress" pics. But heres the shock. It was completely stripped, the body was blasted and cerakoted. I made new Alloy pre-load adjusters, spring seat, bladder end etc which we had anodised red. The shaft lock nut and washer are Titanium. The shock end I custom made in billet alloy. Engraved with Todds 93 race number. The little adjuster is all made new, in Ti and brass, getting the old one out virtually destroyed it! Sent it out to ERS...

2/14/2022 2:01pm Can I ask what your other route was? I'm having the same issue, accept I'm in the UK. I'll pay any other way, PayPal, bank transfer etc, but not that. Frustrating.
