Ran Yamalube 2R in the past which was great as well... just a bit more dirty on tear down. Smelled like ass when running though, which is honestly why I switched haha. Stupid reason, but K2 has been fantastic. I've ran many other premix oils over the years, always in the 32-40:1 range. Never had an issue or anything resembling a lubrication related failure. I picked up a left over ‘19 this summer. The bike is an absolute ball - and I sold my 450 shortly after purchasing it. I think I’ll end up with another 4-T, but for me racing 30+ FOR FUN, it’s all the bike any of us need. I can’t comment on the 125 vs 150 debate, but have a hard time imagining this 150 is a turd up top compared to the 125. I went up two teeth on the rear sprocket (after reading Jeff Crutcher’s post about his 150 that he attempted to qualify at the pro nationals...

I jumped off 80s onto a YZ250F back in 01. At the time seemed like the right move, looking back I wish I would have spent a year on a 125 but oh well. Now I have a 125 and a 250 2 stroke and when I go to the local MX track on my 125 I get aggravated because none of these 4 stroke kids know how to make a rut, its all powerslide in and point and shoot. Makes it difficult to carry speed on the 125.

Four-strokes are NOT better, they are given a ridiculous double-displacement advantage. Sorry, the YZF started the attack on the 2-stroke, but this is the bike that really killed it. This was the first bike were pro riders didn't really feel like they were giving up handling for power.

Ha! Not a fluffer... I work in the film industry as a stuntman. Because I was a smaller guy - 5’8” - 135 lbs, immediately after racing I got into doing stunts.
