8/16/2018 6:53pm cables are brand new and tensioned correctly. i’m convinced it’s the potentiometer. does anyone know if there is a replacement or if i just need to buy a whole new assembly? i’d hate to do that since i just changed the motor and all.

I like the Keihin, lately I have been having RC Valve troubles and found a few threads that tell me to replace the motor so ill see if that helps. I can't say that the Keihin is worlds better than the Mikuni because I put .5 hours on the Mikuni...

8/15/2018 8:24am Derek is a great guy. Highly recommend him on any build, modern, vintage, whatever you may have. He does his research for each model bike, he doesn't just give you a big bore and call it a day. He knows his shit. You should have seen the 96's I saw at his shop this weekend

5/7/2018 1:21pm that’s a good question. they came in the extra parts bin when i bought the bike. i’m sure you can find them on ebay or call renthal directly if they are not available on the several mx parts websites.

5/4/2018 1:59pm i made “custom clamps” because yes, i wanted the newer style front end plastics and i wanted a different offset, but also if i ever did want to upgrade to the bigger forks i would just have to bore out the clamps, which i can do in our machine shop. it was only $90 extra to have the clamps made...

5/4/2018 11:23am Can anyone help with jetting? I'm in no way a jetting guru. Stock bore/stroke. PC pipe shorty exhaust. Straight VP T2 40:1. 500' elevation. Texas climate. Says to start in the middle with the needles at Red #3 and a 172 main. Doesn't look like it came with pilots. What would be yalls recommendation? I know the fuel might change...
