picking up bike tomorrow, somehow quick shift lost its programming, so they reprogrammed. so you can just turn it off. dealer said they can plug in computer and disable it. So I am guessing you can disable the TC as well, remove the switch and move on

1/17/2023 4:37am But of course it is not about the power.. 🤭 I see.. you are lucky you didn't get an error I guess. Thank you for letting me know. This post didn't lead to anything as basically there is nothing you can physically do to remove the quick shifter. It is within the ecu. I'll see what I do.

I have a 350, old guy, so dont need any more power, i have not raced or road dirt in 25 years.lol I just wanted to mess with it. the traction control and launch work, so the dealer said it prob lost the program, but no error. We didn't have 4 strokes, its def a different world. Also, things got a lot bigger over the years. I raced 125/250A, was the mid pack slow guy back in the day, now everyone sends everything. Tracks are very super cross like and these bikes are sick fast. I cant imagine needing any...

The problem is if you remove the sensor on the engine casings you also loose the input for the ECU for the fuel/ignition maps in the diffrent gears...!

I mean.. was the light behind the front numberplate blipping or so? Would be very nice if someone can confirm it can be disabled/turned off...

Mine stopped working. I never used it, went to push the button to mess with it and it won't turn on. Dealer said its a program error. So I am guessing you can have the dealer turn the feature off with the data controller and then dump the sensors and switch

1/5/2018 5:12am Thanks for replying! Is this true? So what does a shorter header do? Come on people get this post rolling it is interesting. Figuring out what different sized in diameter or length headers do would be like a guide to improve your bike the way you want without spending a fortune for the whole system.

1/7/2017 9:04am Renthal does not make 0mm offset bar mounts for kawasaki's (CL019) .. maybe in the past models but not anymore. I asked them directly through email and this was their reply: The CL019 that fits late model Kawasaki's has a 5mm offset. We do not offer a zero offset version. Sincerely, David Kaiser
