I find this compartmentalisation strange. There are countless examples of people who were excellent parents but absolute scumbags in all other aspects of their lives, including professionally. Are we to let them off the hook just because they looked after their family? I'm perfectly willing to admit Brian has provided for his family but this doesn't excuse all the other shit he stirs up. As others have pointed out also, many of the things that Haiden does on a regular basis do not indicate someone that has been 'raised right'.

It may be hard for a European to understand, but the USA is as large geographically as all of Europe.

Deep rips hold moisture way longer, esp when you go deep and water heavy the night before. Then you have a chance of not being in a dust bowl by the end of race day.
