5/28/2024 6:12pm I snapped the kicker shaft on my kx the other weekend at bar2bar and was in there to start replacing it today and noticed the basket is not only already a Hinson but it has grooves only on ~2/3 of the fingers and weird wear marks on 2/3 of the outside. Not sure if it’s from bad bearings or not...

Ha! Vets What you have is old beginners not vets. Vet denotes you have been riding for years and know how. These tracks are for old beginners. These guys come out to my private track at times on their big 450s and it's so sad to watch them roll around not knowing how to navagate a proper motocross track. If you are old and need to be able to go to work on mon then take up golf and leave moto to those who can. I'm 67 btw and a true vet racing since the 70's.

Stopping to charge for 30 minutes does not add only 30 minutes to the trip either, anyone who’s done some driving knows that. Not every stop is directly off the highway, even if it’s only 5 minutes off the highway it’s 5 minutes back to the highway, and any extracurricular activities while stopped only add to the trip. 5/8/2024 1:42pm Forgot to include the cost of a new battery after 5 years due to load cycling it like that and the hospital bills when the varg drive by wire decides that it actually doesn't want to stop accelerating and just sends you halfway out of atmosphere.

They do not seem to have enough rebound damping but I already had the rebound almost maxed and have the stiffest springs they put...

4/25/2024 12:40pm I ended up ordering another set. Is there a write up or something somewhere on cartridge forks so I can better understand the operation. I have them almost complete tore down, cartridge and base valve still together. Lots of plastic bits so will need to take base valve apart.

4/24/2024 6:38pm Unfortunately I'm not trying to buy a whole nother set of forks and seals to rebuild them. Will the top caps of another bike brand 46mm forks work? Yam and Honda and possibly Suzuki all used 46s at one point. I found the plastic guide pieces on the bay.
