Hey all, my first post here.
I’m currently rebuilding an 06 yz450f and I’m working on the jetting of the fcr carb. Current jets are:
main - 165
pilot- 50
needle - NFLR clip 4
leal - 50
fuel screw at or around 2 turns
Northern Utah elevation (4000-7000ish)
the AP is working properly and has the o ring mod, carb has been fully rebuilt, no clogs or dirt, bike has a pro circuit slip on, header is stock. When you roll on the throttle, the bike sounds great, but when you stab the throttle, the bike stutters and stalls, mostly dies. I have a video of this, but cannot post it? Aside from that, the bike sounds great.
any help on this, would be awesome!

Try 45 pilot clip 3 start screw 1 3/4
My bro and his buddies ran multiple DIY torque wings in the bore of the carb(cylinder side). It increases air velocity when slide is partially open. This aids air signal to the pilot. So yeah, thin metal with bent tabs to secure position. Set for 1/4 and 1/2 throttle. Sharp response, no caugh or sputter.
Could the TPS need to be adjusted if you removed it?
Carb 4 strokes can be kinda boggy, does it get better when the bikes hot?
I'm in ks and my 04 has(?) a 162 main and 58(?) pilot. So you're probably fat on the main but that wouldn't cause your bog.
Typically they'll be boggy with no load free revving, I'm not sure I can just stab the throttle on mine in a free rev scenario without a bog, I've never had it happen in a wrong situation though. I just have the habit of rolling on it anyways.
