Yeah that's been my problem as well, but I am using some aftermarket parts to finish it up, and I do intend on racing her in some vintage stuff. I have had to make some mods to my frame and subframe (fix broken tabs and nut plates). Like brake lines, my old ones look rough but they are ok, then...

Glad to see an update. Sorry to hear about the gearbox. You are way ahead of what I have done on my '87 rebuild though, but my engine is almost done. That seat cover looks great with the graphics too. Can't wait to see it all together!

Those graphics look great, I got UFO plastic for my 87 KX also.

Hey BJB812, I'm down in Germany doing a '87 kx 250 rebuild. I got a nice black seat off a 93 kx 500 that might fit yours that I will let go cheap...maybe a pack of beer and some suggestions on my build ;-).
