I used to rebuild shocks for the Porsche crowd. When building the same exact shocks and testing them, I was surprised how different some where on the Dyno. Our thing was selling perfectly matched sets. We ended up building a dozen shocks and pairing them up instead of re-valving a set to match. I always wondered this on MX front forks/shocks and if people tested for indifferences even with the same settings? We would also include Dyno charts for each shock. Does anyone do this type service when you get your motorcycle suspension done nowadays?

For some people building bikes up is a part of the hobby and almost as fun as riding them. It seems people forget that motocross is actually supposed to be fun.

Just back at Moto track after 25 yr snooze (life) It's a pricey game but u can have fun and kick azz without going tits up. In Canada it's truly insane what parents pay for kids Hocket at Elite level. There are some many people with their hands in your pockets.

I like Deegan...I really do but like the other also rans....the only way to beat Jett is to break his legs. I'm tellin' ya fellas...we are witnessing something special. I'm older than dirt. I've been hanging over the snow fence and been amazed by everyone from John Banks, Joel, Roger, Heikki, Brad, Marty, Kent, Bob, Tony D.....MC, Ricky, Eli, and all the other hot shoes in-between. DV has never made a truer observation...Jett is a genetic freak. I don't think we have seen his ceiling yet. Barring injury...I don't think he has any legit competition for the foreseeable future. If...

Lars Van Berkel finished 16th overall at Southwick. Then drove 7hrs to Gofer Dunes the next day and finished 2nd overall!! These other guys need to Harden the F up! LOL, that looked brutal Saturday. Even Jett said after the second moto on the podium his legs were shaking.

For what it's worth... I went to Pala yesterday, first ride in like 3 months. I'm 50 yrs old. That previous ride was not good, couldn't get a flow, struggled to save the bike when it got a little out of shape. I have very low hopes for a good time when I went yesterday. Turns out I had a blast, because I rode (for me) great. Was hitting jumps I was scared of on the last ride. Felt comfortable with the bike twitching around. I was so surprised. Reason for this? I bought a Sur Ron a couple of...

63 years old and been racing for 50 years, I had enough of the modern style tracks so changed to twinshock racing, over here in the UK there are a lot of classic meetings on old school natural scramble tracks and I absolutely love it.

I agree with you guys. I'm 66 and have been riding mx since the 70's. About 9 weeks ago I was riding my 23 Husky 125 at a private track. I also had a 21 KX 250. I had just bought the 125 to play around on. Well, I made a mistake on a medium sized double, bike kicked sideways and I high sided when I landed. Ended up with a broken ankle, tib and fib. 7 weeks non weight bearing, I have a rod in my tib and a few screws in my ankle. Thankfully I had an excellent...

Was/am having similar issue. 58yo. Last year or so, I had become extremely fearful of larger jumps and even smaller ones that I hadn't been over. Rolling jumps that were well within my skill level was extremity frustrating. I love going to track, but the fun level was fading. Just hard to get into any kind of rhythm if you are riding around scared and rolling stuff. Thankfully, it is starting to turn around. I attribute the improvement to a couple things: Improving fitness a little, especially core strength and changing bikes. I am a long time Honda rider and...
