Agreed. We joke about how fucked up and disorganized professional racing is, but everyone involved did an amazing job up there. If those races didn't happen, a lot of people would have faced life-changing consequences.

Couple of things that are important to know... When we were in Utah, the teams openly said they will only race if there is a certain number of events, and that they would like to see confirmed dates, or else they would not come to any. There was a proposed schedule of going Ironman-Florida-Washougal-High Point/Loretta's. No one I talked with, from rig drivers to team managers to privateers, felt that would be good given the economic situation or the strain it'd put on them, but it sounds like that's gone away. Agreed...now switching gears...If we have to wear a mask at the Nationals (which we undoubtedly will), lets make it fun - masks with rider numbers/colors. Have a stand both inside and outside the gates where you can adhere to the rules, support the sport, and visually cheer for your favorite rider. We care more about the riders and race teams than our own events. Without them, there would be no professional motocross. And every team, and every rider, we have spoken to wants to get back out and race--as soon as it's safe for everyone--and not have sponsors abandoned motorsports all together. And as Guy B pointed, there is no positive test from this summer for anyone with USADA, and the FIM just gave him his FIM World Championship Award at the FIM Gala in Monte Carlo, and no one there from the FIM knew anything about any positive testing.
